How to Setup IPTV on MAG Box

How to Setup IPTV on MAG Box

Set up IPTV Flix UK on your MAG device using your IPTV portal URL. Follow these simple steps to connect your MAG box and start streaming.

1. Connect Your MAG Box

Connect your MAG box to your TV using an HDMI cable and connect the power adapter.

Turn on your TV and MAG device, then select the correct HDMI input.

Connect the MAG box to the internet using either:

  • Ethernet cable for a wired connection
  • Wi-Fi through the network settings

Make sure your MAG device has a stable internet connection.

2. Get Your IPTV Portal URL

MAG devices use a Portal URL to connect to your IPTV service.

Your IPTV Flix UK portal URL will be provided with your subscription. Keep it available before starting the setup.

3. Enter the Portal URL

Using your MAG remote:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Select System Settings.
  3. Go to Servers.
  4. Select Portals.
  5. Enter a name in Portal 1 Name, such as IPTV Flix UK.
  6. Enter the portal address provided with your IPTV subscription in Portal 1 URL.
  7. Select Save or press OK.

Leave Portal 2 empty unless you have another portal to configure.

4. Restart Your MAG Device

After saving the portal details, return to the main menu and restart your MAG device.

Depending on your MAG model, you may find the option under:

Settings → System Settings → Restart/Reboot

Allow the device to restart and connect to the IPTV portal.

5. Start Watching

Once the portal loads successfully, your available IPTV content should appear on your MAG device.

You can browse live TV, categories and other content provided through your IPTV subscription.

If an EPG/TV Guide is available, it may also appear automatically after the portal loads.

Troubleshooting

If your IPTV portal does not load:

  • Check that your MAG box is connected to the internet.
  • Re-check the Portal URL for spelling mistakes.
  • Make sure the portal URL was entered in Portal 1 URL.
  • Restart your MAG device and try again.
  • Contact IPTV Flix UK support if you need help with your portal details.
